• Pastor mike gestrich

    Pastor Mike is the senior and founding pastor of The Log Church. He graduated from Liberty University and began serving in Pittsburgh in 1982. Pastor Mike has dedicated his life to serving God in Pittsburgh and has a desire to spread the Gospel message throughout the city. 

    His plans for the future of The Log Church include the building of an extension video venue, the construction of a new sanctuary, and the opening of an institute designed to train ministers to serve in churches all over Pittsburgh. 

    Pastor Mike and his wife, Carol, moved to the Pittsburgh area and moved onto the land in which the church sits today. Pastor Mike and Carol have been married since 1978 and have six children.

    Pastor Sam has been serving as the assistant pastor at The Log Church since 2004. He graduated from Liberty University and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with a BS in Religion, an MA, and an M.Div in Pastoral Studies.

    Pastor Sam has a passion to see people become intimately acquainted with God.  He desires to see everyone in the church connect with God and create a strong, loving family within the church.

    Sam and his wife Jamie were born and raised in Pittsburgh. They got married in 2006. Jamie has a vital role in our Woman's Ministry as she reaches out and gathers woman of all ages in the church.  Pastor Sam and his wife, Jamie, have a growing family with their daughter Evangeline and son Levi.

  • pastor ron jaworski

    Pastor Ron has been working in youth ministry since 1989. He joined The Log Church in April, 2002, as the Youth Pastor. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute. 

    Pastor Ron is deeply passionate about seeing children give their lives to Christ. He is responsible for maintaining a weekly, in-depth bible learning program for children in the Junior Church Services. Also, Pastor Ron organizes The Log Church's yearly summer Vacation Bible School program which involves hundreds of children, and over 100 volunteers from the church. 

    Pastor Ron and his wife Kristen enjoy serving in youth ministry together. They have been married for fourteen years and have two children. Ron and Kristen serve together as leaders for The Refinery, our teenage youth ministry.
